the cyclical patterns of things.

beginning and ends,

ends and beginnings,

up turns, down turns.

where did u find yourself today?

Two may talk together under the same roof for many years, yet never really meet;
and two others at first speech are old friends.
- Mary Catherwood
It isn't possible to love and part.
You will wish that it was.
You can transmute love, ignore it, muddle it,
but you can never pull it out of you.
I know by experience that the poets are right:
love is eternal.

If instead of a gem, or even a flower,
we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend,
that would be giving as the angels give.
-George MacDonald

When I first saw you I already knew
There was something inside of you
Something I thought that I would never find
Angel of mine.
-Monica

grateful for dear friends
Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes
I see my future in an instant
and there it goes
I think I've found my best friend.

This is what should be done
By one who is skilled in goodness,
And who knows the path of peace:
Let them be able and upright,
Straightforward and gentle in speech.
Humble and not conceited,
Contented and easily satisfied.
Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways.
Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful,
Not proud and demanding in nature.
Let them not do the slightest thing
That the wise would later reprove.

too good to be true.

too scared to believe.

no winning.

no losing.

silent scream.

sad smile.

gratitude in disappointments.

now, let go...

now, peace.

On My Way
Boyce Avenue

I wasn't there the moment you first learned to breathe
But I'm on my way
On my way
I wasn't there the moment you got off your knees
But I'm on my way
On my way

Lay down
And come alive in all you've found
All you're meant to be
And for now
We'll wait until the morning light
And close our eyes to see
Just close your eyes to see

A tear must have formed in my eye
When you had your first kiss
But I'm on my way
On my way
So leave a space deep inside for everything I'll miss
Cause I'm on my way
On my way

Lay down
And come alive in all you've found

All you're meant to be
And for now
We'll wait until the morning light
And close our eyes to see
Just close your eyes to see

And when you feel no saving grace
Well I'm on my way
On my way
And when you're bound to second place
Well I'm on my way
On my way
So don't believe it's all in vain
Cause I'm on my way
On my way
The light at the end is worth the pain
Cause I'm on my way
On my way

I'll be there the morning you come out in white
Cause I'm on my way
On my way
compassion, love.
the same thing.

attention, love.
the same thing.

care, love.
the same thing.

peace.

non-attachment

grateful for everything that showed up in my life today
even just for today.

if tomorrow i see them not, i will be alright.
i will rejoice and forever be grateful for the today i have.

i can do this.

...it takes great courage to allow myself to be open to the generosity of others.

...why?

...the one leaf

focus...

...nothing else matters...
Don’t give yourself away.
Work quietly on your weaknesses,
develop a reserve and mystery,
be organized and self-sufficient,
and keep your life to yourself.

Consume less, stay in control,
be at one with your inner self and nature.
Purifying your life, constantly skimming, cleaning,
throwing things out, simplifying.

sometimes, some good soul come along, and you feel like you've known them forever; like you're already great friends before you met.
the conversations feel like plain catching up...no judgment, just the simple intention of knowing each other's situation, offering comfort, support, understanding and often times comic relief.

no need to impress, not even words...
just the felt presence of somebody who truly cares.

just like the movies...

hope springs eternal.
Let us not be corrupted by the traditions of men from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
-Simplicity Blog
loving kindness...

may this be the theme of my day,

even just for today.

namaste.
